Setting the time

Using the Alarm
The alarm sounds at the set time. Preparation: Set the time and check that “F” indicator is out. Press 7 so “F” goes out if it is on. Press and hold 7 until the display starts flashing. Press any button while the alarm is sounding. The AM step and FM range change and all preset channels are erased.
A AREA mode
Each AREA number represents an area in Japan and contains preset stations available in that area. The list of areas is on the back of the unit. Turn 5 to select the area number (1-42) while in the AREA/MY BANK change mode.
B MY BANK mode
Preset 18 stations each in MY BANK modes 1 and 2. Select MY BANK mode “ (Œ step 3 above). Press and hold 8 so the frequency flashes. Press 8 to complete.
Auto off
