While supplied User’s Guide instructs you to perform regular (at least weekly) maintenance in the following order: (1) the print head, (2) caps, and (3) the wiper, you should also be sure to perform regular maintenance on (4) the wiper rail as described below.

In the printer control panel menu, select Maintenance > Head Maintenance > Move Head to move the print head to the cleaning position. Open the left and right maintenance covers and confirm that the following message is displayed in the control panel.
