Higher settings result in higher sensitivity, so that the pad will produce a loud volume even when struck softly. You can change tempo during the exercise using the [ ] or [ ] button. Quiet Count ( ) Quiet Count mode is a timing exercise designed to develop and learn “internal” timing. In this mode, the metronome will play at the set volume level for the first eight measures then play the second eight measures at a reduced volume. The eight measure cycle of loud and soft counts will continue until stopped. In the Coach mode, use the [ ] or [ ] button until “ “ is displayed. Push the [METRONOME] button to begin the exercise. Speed Check ( ) Speed Check mode is very similar to the Time Check mode in that the goal is to play exactly in time with the metronome.
